High end, high volume yet casual restaurant is in search of a talented PASTRY CHEF. This is an amazing restaurant with an award winning chef that is growing his company. The pastry kitchen is a dream kitchen for a Pastry Chef! Plenty of firepower and space to truly show off your talents in both plated desserts and baking. The position is an overseeing role (but hands on for training, volume etc) where you will have a pastry sous as well as several cooks and prep cooks in your department that you will be responsible for. You will not be expected to be on the line for service as long as you’ve trained your cooks well. You will be responsible for all product ordering, inventory, scheduling your crew and making sure all product is up to standards as well as making sure you never run out. This is is a high volume restaurant so it’s important you have that in your background.
