We are looking for a hands on Sous Chef to help run an amazing Italian, dinner only restaurant near Downtown Los Angeles. The kitchen is a very hands on environment where all Kitchen management work a station on the line during service to ensure top quality and consistency for each dish. If you don’t LOVE actually cooking as part of your daily duties, this is not a position for you. This is a high volume restaurant yet putting out top quality plates, you must be a rockstar cook and have the ability to not only knock it out on the line but to motivate and develop your cooks. This position has light administrative duties (ordring, invoice coding, inventory) as the focus is more on the quality food and preparation. There is a strong culture of food passion and attention to details from the chef and it is very important you have the same values. Even though this is a higher volume restaurant, there is no sacrificing quality on any plate for any reason.
