Iconic Beverly Hills restaurant is in need of an Executive Chef to lead the culinary direction for this exciting relaunch of the restaurant. The concept is moving to a gorgeous, larger location and will be an updated and upscaled version of what this restaurant has been successfully doing for decades. With projected sales of up to $15M a year, this will be one of the most talked about new openings in Los Angeles. With multiple revenue streams coming from the restaurant, catering, retail bakery and more, you must be able to multi-task very well and be hyper-organized. Experience and knowledge of Jewish cuisine is a huge plus but not a must.
This chef must have a past with high volume restaurants and overseeing large kitchen staffs. You will be in charge of creating new menu items, developing and costing out recipes and training the sous chefs and kitchen staff on consistency in execution. You will also oversee all purchasing, receiving and proper storage of all kitchen product and equipment. All administrative duties will also be your responsibility, from staffing and scheduling, to cost controls, production levels as well as maintaining a professional and positive work environment. You will work directly with the management team to deliver excellence in food quality and service by being engaged in operations, supervising staff and interacting with guests.
Also looking to expand on the catering opportunities, you must have a past flawlessly executing all sizes of catering in the restaurant’s private venues as well as off-site locations.
You will also be expected to represent the restaurant in promotional events, marketing opportunities and TV/radio appearances.
