High-volume (15 million), Chef driven restaurant on the Westside is looking for an Event Planner. This bustling neighborhood restaurant serves the highest quality food with attentive service in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Experience, Skills, & Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in upscale event planning, on-site catering, buy outs and off-site events.
  • Manage a high volume of existing accounts and organic calls as well as bringing in new business through community outreach. You must be familiar with the Westside when it comes to potential new business.
  • Effectively communicate client arrangements with management team to ensure the highest client satisfaction and perfect execution.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and true hospitality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Strong basic computer skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Proven track record of exceeding guest expectations (references required).
  • Driven and motivated to increase sales (and your commission!).
  • Ability to oversee events and interact with diverse personalities.
  • Navigate and negotiate pricing with clients to ensure closed contracts with signatures and deposits.

Offering a strong base salary and aggressive commission.  Currently on tract to do doing over $1.5M a year in catering and there is so much more we can do.

85k – 95k DOE includes base salary and 4% commission
