We are looking for a hands-on and creative Chef Instructor to teach culinary students, home cooks and assist with our corporate events. We are looking for Chef Instructors with relevant, tenured experience and who thrive in a team environment. A teaching/mentoring personality is a must as well as a flexible approach to your daily and weekly agenda. There is no room for egos at this culinary school. You must be “current” with cooking trends as they don’t teach “old school” cuisine. Serious cooking skills, flexibility, passion, and a training/ teaching background are all a must. You must have a professional demeanor and enjoy mentoring new culinary hopefuls and enjoy working in a collaborative environment with the other instructors.
You must have have a minimum of 8 years professional kitchen experience with 4 of those years as a Sous Chef of higher. You will be teaching cooking classes and assisting in developing curriculum for classes using current food trends as well as using various apps and programs such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
