We need an EXECUTIVE CHEF to help run a very busy, high end catering operation. This company has been in business for over 35 years catering to the TV and movie industry as well as full service off-site catering from 10-5000 people. We pride ourselves on our food, service and professionalism and need a chef that strives to always be improving on our food, systems and execution.
To be successful with us you must have a background working in similar operations, catering to upscale clientele and working with seasonal menus, putting out stellar food.
This is a very important position to the operation and a very organized and hands on CHEF is needed to help lead the large crew, oversee the commissary, R&D new menu items and presentations. You must be strong with administrative duties as again we are busy. Cost controls including food and labor cost must be managed along with menu pricing, competitive buying and the like.
This is a HANDS ON position and we’re not looking for an “office chef”. You will be overseeing operations but will be expected to jump in when needed.
Even with the current state of dining, they are still busy and about to get busier! This is a unique opportunity before things get really busy to have this chef start ASAP and learn operations, help create new menus and staff up for what promises to be a busy end of the year. Company is picky but ready to hire!
